Same exact problems. I have an 08 btw. As you can see in my pics I was able to use 4 holes and missing the 3rd bottom hole on the vertical, which should be below the L in this first pic.

I guess its my turn to contact them. :icon_frow

We're all missing (more or less) the third bottom hole. 08-09s I think have that issue. Nonetheless... Seems like the holes u do have dont line up. plain ol weird.

Wonder if the holes vary a little on some runs... Not sure why though I assume they r for body work repairs, so precision isn't likely warranted at the factory.

on mine, if i leave the bottom bolt out (inner lower bolt, closest to firewall), it lines up just about 100% to the MC. But the bolt won't go in the lower hole.

Yours almost looks worse off.

Do not use the wiring harness holder piece(gold color), just the fuel one. Thats why its all pushed over, you dont need the wiring holder. Bend the fuel one so all the hoses fit in their slots

Start with the Vertical holes first, 1st should be the very top

Then move to the other 2 holes

Do not tighten everything down. test fit the nut and red cup. adjust brace by moving it forward (I also had the not enough room, was fixed w/ pushing brace forward)

Tighten down the 4 mounting screws

Tighten nut/locking nut

*there is play in the brace and the holes, so it needs to be pushed all the way forward

5eat downshift rev match:)

Powder coated wheels: completed:)

I dont understand how you put both those brackets behind the brace, it makes the bracket crooked and not flush with the strut tower as well as pushed the unit too far towards the engine, that didn't cross your mind when you noticed the red cap not fitting? :)

I was hopeful at best since the brace showed tall tale signs of it not aligning right without any bolts or brackets in. I was already missing the 5th bolt hole so I knew I had a problem. The bottom of the brace is really close to the bottom of the MBC and I eyeballed the red cap to still push against the MBC on the top half only. So i figure maybe If i torque down the two bolts with brackets a lot it might still work.

Oh well I'll try without the gold bracket and moving the gas line bracket later today.

Looking at grrupts picture above here... it looks very similiar to the picture of my holes (no comment). The best way for me to describe it is, if the lower hole was in the center of the sticker outline, the brace would work for me.

Grrupts sticker residue appears to be in the exact same places as mine.... Off center. Assuming a robot is putting these on, perhaps a few were slightly off somehow in production. Who knows, just thinking out loud.

Following your guys advice I was able to get it to work I suppose. This is as close I could get it to the center. Guys think this is fine?

Mayn you basically have to flatten out that gas line bracket...
