roundthirteen
Got it up on ramps tonight and it's the drivers side axle seal. Looks like the Impala SS's for sale sign will being coming down for a until I can get her fixed. I hate working 9-5 sometimes. roundthirteen
$5 part FWIW. Yeah it always is......... On the Impala (supercharged 3.8) the car would have little junk like plastic coolant elbows break and TB gaskets fail. Always fun pulling all 6 plugs on a FWD car just to roll it over to blow out maybe teaspoon of coolant that made it's way through the supercharger and into the cylinders out. Oh and then change the oil. I expected it on that car being GM. I finally just put a spacer on it to block the coolant to the TB. roundthirteen
http://parts.subarupartswarehouse.com/schematics/mechanical/F731030.gifSo do you have to buy the whole axle or can you get the seal some place? I looked at Subarupartswarehouse, Rockauto, and a few others and only saw the axles.
