02SUBIwagon Posted February 22, 2012 Share Posted February 22, 2012 hey im looking into putting a rebuilt engine into my subaru! i have a 2002 subaru legacy wagon L. what years legacy/outback ENGINE's have a perfecr fit for my manuel legacy?? head gaskets got done a year ago and im always missing about a quart of oil every week. nooo smoke or wierd smells and no leaks under wagon! 987687 Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 Those engines can be a bit hard to find, and EXPENSIVE. I say buying a quart of oil per week is cheaper and easier than replacing the engine.
