Kodax Posted February 21, 2012 Share Posted February 21, 2012 Hey guys, recently I found a 2008 legacy LGT with 42,000 miles that I might be interested in. But it seems like it is definitely modded (lowered suspension, aftermarket wheels, new exhaust). Is there anyway to check if the previous owner did the due diligence of taking care of the car? Or if the turbo has blown and the previous owner just traded the car in to avoid further repair fees. Any inputs are greatly appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
angeltalin Posted February 22, 2012 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Ask for receipts of maintenance, and all work done on the car, one way to check the turbo, is drop The down pipe ( pipe from the back of the turbo that connects to the midpipe of exhaust) reach your hand into the turbo and juggle the turbine to check for shaft play.
