There is no real difference in the tune between modes. It is possible to in effect limit performance by never hitting high requested torque values but the stock maps don't really do that aggressively. It changes pedal resolution, and makes it so the same % pedal input yields different actual throttle plate opening angle in different modes. You should still have the different amounts of throttle aggressiveness you always did. That is unless someone alters the DBW tables on purpose.
