luvmylegacy98 Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 it sounds like something is turning and hitting something like the tie rod or something. the car has been knocked out of alignment by hitting a curb. it needed a new tie rod before the new noise and so i hoped that the tie rod would fix it but i figured it wouldnt and it didnt. it doesnt make any sound when turing left but when i turn right or drive straight it makes a crunching like noise thats almost rythmic which is why i think its something hitting as it turns. could it be coming from inside the steering rack?
