mdzowner Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 hi all, i have an 07 swp lgt. i have just over 110k miles and recently had the 100k service done by the crew at iag in westminister md. recently i have noticed a significant loss in fuel mileage. ( unrelated to iag ). when i first bought my car back in 07 i would fill my tank and the reading would be in the 410-430 range. i filled my tank today and it only read 290 miles til empty. i thought it may need a minute to reset or whatever but after work i drove home ( my round trip is about 6 miles) same reading. what do you think? oh lastly, im getting about 320 miles until empty on average. recap; 1. how accurate is the dte reading? snowboardr424 Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 I filled up yesterday and my 07 said 350 and I thought it usually said 390 full. I'm not sure how it works. Light came on and it said 50 to empty but I've been on the highway when it's come on and it said 80 to empty...who knows. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LosAngelesLGT Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Im not sure how to answer but we had driven more than 15 miles gingerly on the highway with the DTE reading 0 miles till empty back when it was newish.
