Heedz
Has anyone been able to do this, don't see anything posted nor on ground control since we do not have a macpherson rear end.

Heedz
yeah at that point possibly a little more uncomfortable coilover set up would be cheaper.... UGH the fronts seem to be plain and simple. I would just do springs plus konis but without the less coil I wont be able to fit 255s or whatnot :/

Heedz
^I want more clearance for tire. the front struts are too limiting and I do not want to have a mis matched set. Same goes for the rear.

whitetiger
On a 35 series sidewall right? That's way too thin for a car that also gets dailyed 35 is a percent of tread width, not an absolute dimension. 255/35/18 has essentially the same sidewall as a 225/40/18 which is probably one of the most common tire size for 18" there is and fine for daily driving in the tri-state area. I know its 35% of 255mm I live in crappy road california, I need a few more MMs of tire to not do what I just happened to live through, broken sways and bent rims. Never had an issue when I had 235/45 R17 which cleared by 1mm or so.

KWs and most other coilovers meant for road racing will not be good for what you want to do with the car, or you will be rebuilding them every 10k miles. -mike

Firepuma
In theory you can do it. Locking collars, perches and springs. Did this in volvos- here's an old for sale add listing what you need- http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/topic/148359-diy-coilovers-parts-everything-you-need-usd-18000/page__fromsearch__1
