owenmaxx Posted February 11, 2012 Share Posted February 11, 2012 Hi guys i have a stg2 catless exhaust settup on N1 mufflers no Res at first i was fine with the loudness but im over it [after 5 months lol] what are my options? My stock res went to garbage so thats out of question can i use a aftermarket res ? or how about putting 2 aftermarket res down there? OGHK87Jay Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 Yea you can use an aftermarket resonator just go to a good exhaust shop and have them build you a new resonated mid pipe if you want it quieter put in a longer resonator, the long round resonator not the squarish ones. It'll work like a charm. Don't do double thats just a waste of money. Check out magnaflow resonators or flowmaster. goneskiian Posted April 27, 2012 Share Posted April 27, 2012 You can also fit a full muffler in the mid pipe. It will take more work to get it right though.
