severedevil Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 need the driverside exhaust cam lifter lash specs if anyone got em. ive had a tick in my motor for some time now, thought that when i replaced the valves that i may have missed one. i pulled the head did a leak down test and they all passed. now i took to a machine shop and he noticed that the intake cam and lifters are always touching. while the exhaust cam and lifters only touch 180 deg of the full rotation. problem? im not sure if the cams bad or the lifters or if it should be like that. its a 97 subaru legacy gt. thanks now on the leakdown test it dropped a little bit out the exhaust cam but took about 5mins. still good right?? no daylight coming through any. the machine shop guy said it just carbon no biggie.
