Redline2083 Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 Ok recently my car began overheating, checked the radiator hoses and they were clogged with a lot of gunk. Then my lower radiator hose burst and i didn't even know so i possibly did drive without anyyyyy coolant until temps sky rocketed. I cleaned the hoses and everything is flowing. Once i drive hard the car spews coolant through the space where the hose slots in on the overflow bottle and the car begins to overheat. It only over heats once im on WOT. My guess is it overheats cuz the coolant is being pushed out. Im changing the caps today. Also i was getting a slight sputtering in WOT so i changed my plugs. Oddly enough the coil packs to the front do not want to go right in and i'm wondering if warping can cause this? Since i've changed the plugs i get crazy sputtering from about 6000rpm to redline. Its not sputtering at low boost which is 10psi, but it is at 16psi. I'm really not sure whats goin on. Cud it be caps, a blown gasket or what?
