bdub Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 I may be being a dipstick here myself - I'm replacing my oil pickup tube, but for some reason I can't get the dipstick tube separated from the oil pan. Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't it only being held in by 2 o-rings (after removing the 10 mm bolt up top)? Any help would be appreciated. ericem Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 Did you undo the one bolt holding the dipstick tube ontop? It is usually stuck in there. Spray some penetrating oil in the hole and wiggle it around. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
