jamal
I don't see why you couldn't. You will want to pull the spacers between the crossmembers and body as to not completely screw over the suspension geometry. This could be tricky in the front due to the new engine mounting setup though. I haven't looked under a new OB to see how everything is spaced up. bradze
well a guy near me is putting his '07 OBXT back to stock and ill see when i have time if the LGT struts he has fit my car.
jamal
that definitely won't work. the suspension change from 09 to the newer cars. 10+ Legacy suspension will for sure bolt up, and now that I think about it, there are no mounts between the front subframe and engine so pulling the spacers shouldn't be a problem either. New bolts and a legacy steering linkage.
bradze
thats what i thought, i dont know why i thought for a second it'd work again. but back to my original question, would struts that are supposed to fit a '10+ legacy going to fit on an outback? bradze
did i mention im looking for a spec e30? thats exactly what i want, thanks for the link. the sad thing is i'm in school, so not working full time right now so i'd never get approved for a loan. a car like that is exactly what im looking at but my wife and i agreed its only fair for me to wait til i graduate cuz id spend like $1k a month if i had a race car. but tax time is almost here! CL21376
thats what i thought, i dont know why i thought for a second it'd work again. but back to my original question, would struts that are supposed to fit a '10+ legacy going to fit on an outback? Being that there isn't a shock option out yet for the 5th gen GTs it is going to be almost impossible to tell for certain. You are going to have to be the guinea pig. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/gauging-interest-performance-shocks-2010-lgt-and-3-6-143985p25.html Posts 364 and 365. "Doubtful" You should call Myles at RCE. Seriously. He is developing the replacement shock option for these cars, and it probably your best bet at figuring out if they will or won't fit, and why.
