Removing auto transmission

Good weather yesterday so we jacked up the legacy with failed automatic transmission and began plodding through the process to remove it. With 2 of us we got further than I expected. My son opted to do the "separate torque converter from drive plate" part -- he removed the service hole plug, set up the ratchet to rotate the engine and with the help of a magnetic long dongler did a great job of getting the bolts out.

However -- he only found four (4) small bolts and maintained that all there were. Is he right? I would have expected many more ...
