1990 Subaru Justy?

Recommended Posts

Being 17 and interested in everything mechanical, I am often subject to my father coming home and me under the hood of my Legacy, and after the last time or two I believe he has had enough of me tearing into the car. After looking around we've located a 1990 Justy GL for $1,300.

Heres the link to car:

The engine is apparently down and would need to be replaced. The car would be a learning tool as a 5 speed and something to tear into/fix. Anyways, does anybody know of any problems or personal expirence with Justys?

Good point, looking like it has as much sheet metal as a toaster doesn't place too much area for the energy from an impact to go. This would mainly be for a cruiser to/from school and riding around town like you said.

That also surprised me and my dad. Weve only seen it in pictures so it could be rusted to nothing underneath, but it does look very clean inside and out.

If you search Subaru Justy ANY mileage from my zip code, this is the only one that comes up on cars.com, autotrader.com, etc etc.. So it must be one of the few survivors
