colby Posted January 23, 2012 Share Posted January 23, 2012 I have noticed since i got my 97 gt that when i start from a standstill and dont slip the clutch alot and try to launch faster the car will jerk, also if i have the revs to low cruising and let off the gas and put it back on. So i finally was able to take my lgt out in the snow this winter and find that same problem happens, the car will jerk when its breaking traction and you can feel it on the shit lever as well. any ideas where to start looking? i know i need new sway bushings in the front probably need some more too... car 1997 gt 5 speed 80K Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

subikid90 Posted January 24, 2012 Share Posted January 24, 2012 My roommate has a very similar issue in his 01 LGT. I think it is the engine mounts. We just have not had time to get under and check.
