fordno1
Having an issue with the brakes in our 97 Legacy Outback. First, this only happens when the temps are cold out say under 20 degrees F. I live in Wisconsin so this can happen quite often for a few months out of the year. It also is intermittent. What happens is when the car is first started up in the morning after sitting overnight, let it run for 10 minutes, get in and go in reverse and hit the brakes, the brake pedal is rock hard and the car doesn't stop, keeps rolling. But, going forward, there is no problem at all. Brakes are fine. If you try to pump the brake pedal 5 or 6 times it will move and the brakes work fine then. Any ideas what this could be.
