Just picked up a V1 accessport on here and when I went to marry it to my ecu I got the error message that the ECU was already being used by an accessport. Just bought the car recently and previous owner must have never unmarried their accessport. Anybody in the central NJ area with a v2 accessport able to help me out and marry to my ecu and then unmarry. Id really appreciate the help. Let me know, Thanks!

I think you should contact the guy you bought it from and get your money back. You can send it back to Cobb but they will charge you to reset it.

I spoke with someone at cobb and they said that any V2 accessport can overwrite it so there is no reason for me to send it back. If I cant find anyone around here to help I will wait until I go upstate to my parents I know a few people there that would reset it for me.

I don't think his issue is with the accessport, but rather with the car already having an AP tune on it. once he gets a stock map placed on the car, the accessport should work fine.

Be careful using a V1 AP on the LGT. We recently had a customer unmarry his V1 after about 4 years of it on, and it bricked the ECU. Cost $60 to get cobb to reset the ecu. I would suggest looking for a V2 AP as they are much better to put on/off.
