Car quit- Timing belt?

Recommended Posts

I have had a fuel pump problem and it still threw a code, one easy thing to check is the MAF sensor, try disconnecting it and starting the car, if it runs that's probably the problem, its probably the easiest thing to check, then I would go to fuel pressure gauge. Timing is probably the last thing I would check. Its very rare that the timing would just go bad like that unless the belt snapped which would of killed the engine immediately
