Autoevo Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 Who has had decent luck with the aftermarket, powered low-profile subwoofers that can fit under the seats of an Outback? Care to share your experiences? I have the OEM subwoofer that goes under the drivers seat. I wouldn't recommend it for gut wrenching lows but it fill out the sound pretty well. Replaced the OEM speakers, then added an HU, amp, sub, and sound deadening, decided I didn't like the sub or the sound, ditched the sub, sprang for the MB Quarts, had to sound deaden the doors to keep them from rattling off the hinges, had to swap HU's (that was the only free part) multiple times because the Excelon's front plate kept getting stuck halfway down, finally ended up w/ an Eclipse, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
