subikid90
It will be a fun two minutes though. Then even more fun when you upgrade lol -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
Stang70Fastback
I wasn't referring to the end-links. I'm talking about the sway-bar MOUNTS. Those are what I heard can break at the rear. Mounts meaning the inboard mounts that the center portion of the sway-bar swivels around in.
subikid90
My mounts broke within two days of installing the sway bar. And my mounts/car is rust free. I built some heavy duty ones and haven't had issues since. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
Stang70Fastback
That's not what I wanted to hear. How have I made it this long...?! I'm assuming it's the rear mounts, right?
subikid90
Yes. I have the adjustable 22mm whiteline bar and it was set to the stiffest setting. Could have been something else that caused the issue and the new bar just finished it off. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
Stang70Fastback
I have the adjustable RalliTek bar and it's in the middle setting, which I believe makes it a 24mm equivalent. I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed for the foreseeable future.
Baddog
I have mine maxed and have for about a year now (I believe at least) if not longer. So far so good on my end links.
Kiyo1990
I was looking at the 20mm bar to match the front...that way i didnt have to buy two. Worth it?

Again, it's not the end-links that we are taking about, lol.

gergeek
The mounts have not split/cracked on mine and i have also had the rear ralitek sway bar at max for a year now. Biggest upgrade this summer is to tap the metal claps and add grease nipples so I don't have to remove it to re-grease the bushings. Its not fun taking them on and off without a lift. @Kiyo1990 I would suggest the adjustable Ralitek bar for the rear. I have a tribeca bar on the front and a ralitek bar on the rear and i can fly around on the on ramps. I pretty sure the 20mm sway bar wont make much improvement over stock as its not much thicker. check out the suspension/sway bar faq.
