thefishingone Posted January 3, 2012 Share Posted January 3, 2012 Hi everyone. I'm very close to purchasing a used 2011 3.6r limited with 5k miles on it. But I have one concern. Thr car was originally sold to its only owner in October 2010, so it's an early model 2011. According to the carfax, the Legacy was taken into a dealership at around 3300 miles and the description on the carfax says "transmission checked". Do you think this is a shimmy issue? I think it's a little too early in the engines life for the owner to check the transmission. Any thoughts? The Legacy was taken to a Subaru dealer, can I all them and ask?
