AZP Installs
We sell Prosport. But not much of it. So, I dont have it on the website. If you ask, we sell thousands of products not listed on our site. I wish I had more time to devote to updating the site, but I am spread ultra thin already. You need bolts. OEM spring bolts wont even fit through the holes properly. Not to mention they are too short. Not to mention they are meant for 13ftlbs of torque (that is what the springs are there for). Not to mention the OEM flange is uber thin and the aftermarket flanges are much thicker. Not to mention that OBXT and LGT are the same. Not to mention that we actually install the parts we sell all day long and are not just an internet Walmart like many other places. So, many of the parts you see advertise elsewhere, we sell. We just dont advertise them, because our in house experience is they are not worth the money. So, we dont push them. If you ask we give honest answers based on experience. Even if it means losing the sale. Mikey, No heart attacks please. The folks will only learn that someone selling part number x for $5 over cost out of their apartment when they cant rely on you and AZP to answer their questions. It is all about karma.... -mike http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpghttp://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/141039922.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://upload.pbase.com/image/137566671.jpg 11+ Years Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Subaru Enthusiasts. m sprank
It is tax time. I am losing my mind and hair daily. Trying to avoid a heart attack. Deff feeling the pressure this year. Sorry, I admit the frustration shows much more when the extra stress sets in. Spent a good 3 hours on the phone today answering tech questions and zero time on the books. Phone calls led to 1 verified sale (for single digit profit). The rest were for products I did not or do not sell. Oh, and 1 for Shamar. Always a call or two for him, even though he is only in the office about twice a month. Lol. 8pm, been here since 8am. Still here, still have the books open (but never touched). Still answering PM's and updating threads. Maybe I can go to sleep tomorrow morning for an hour or two before we go for it all over again. It is below 50 out now and heading towards 40. I get to ride 40 miles home on the Buell. WOOT! I love to freeze.

Remember supporting Domestic Image and New England Motorsports customers via phone is very costly, not only monetarily, but on your well being. It isn't an easy business make sure to pace yourself. -mike

m sprank
I just dont have it in me to say,"no, I dont have time". Even though I know what is coming as soon as the call starts out, "Hi, I have a few (quick) questions". Well, at least the ride home was not the coldest I have ever had. Could have been worse. Today I will tackle books, today I will tackle books...lol.

I have seen a lot of great shops go out of business because they were too nice and free with giving away info. Not so much that they gave it away, but in any given 24hrs if you spend hours supporting folks who are not paying customers or even potential paying customers, you will essentially be short changing yourself and in the end will have to close your doors because you cant pay the bills. I know it is hard, trust me, i work 50-60hrs a week at my day job, then put in another 50 or 60 hrs a week at the shop or at home doing shop work/support. It takes a toll and you will burn out. -mike http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpghttp://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/141039922.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://upload.pbase.com/image/137566671.jpg 11+ Years Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Subaru Enthusiasts. ShadowImg
There's a reason I prefer to PM/email shops my questions instead of call. I always hoped it was helpful. I'm usually surprised by shops that ask me to call them when I send a question in, I figure they hate whoever is answering their phone.

For me i can answer the non critical questions at home at my leisure and usually i can put more thought and effort into my responses than a quick question on the phone. -mike http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpghttp://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/141039922.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://upload.pbase.com/image/137566671.jpg 11+ Years Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Subaru Enthusiasts.
