flipsubie06
i drive an 2006 automagic LGT with a few engine mods done to it. but my problem is that my car idles very low at times and sometimes the engine dies when im on an incline or rev high or slam on the brake. the mod i have that i kinda have an idea would be the problem is my atmospheric BOV....could this be the problem??? or is there any way to manually adjust my idle or i also have a Cobb AP. Can i adjust the idle through the AP??? please let me know with your input Thanks
TRSCobra
Your problem is the atmospheric BOV. You can adjust the idle via the AP if you go into tune --> adjustments --> adjust idle and see if it helps.

bmx045
Set it at fixing the problem not bandaiding it.
05COLEGGT
+1 ^ Unless you create a custom tune to handle a BOV that vents to atmosphere your going to have nothing but problems and possibly damage your engine. Your flooding your engine by venting metered air.
Blake
Storytime: Imagine someone at a grocery store with a bag counting apples as he's putting them in the bag, needing to get the right amount. You then come along and start randomly moving them from the bag, then back into the bag, then from, then to...etc. The man gets frustrated and cant keep count bc of your douchey behavior, gets the wrong amount... yeah. This is exactly what youre doing to your MAF when youre using an aftermarket BOV. Just thought I'd let you know.
