I'm half tempted to pull the engine and put it in another car just to see if it's a chassis problem. On the plus side the car has seemed to resolve some of the issue on it's own. I've been driving it the last week everyday and without the CEL coming on. Except for last night when I started the car after driving it came on (not flashing) saying cylinder 1 misfire. No CEL this morning but it does seem to be running rougher at idle than the previous few days. Funny part is my buddy who owns several subies says the reason it runs better is because I took it out in the mud and got it all dirty. I didn't believe him until last night when I washed the car and 20 min later the CEL came on. While it's running decent I'm going to try and sneak it through emissions so at least I won't have to worry about my registration being canceled.
