LegacyKid5
Ok, so I picked up my 05 gt wagon about a month ago, and it is stage 2, and been tuned. Currently has a Sti factory up pipe and I believe the downpipe is indiva catted bellmouth. I was just curious to get opinions from those of you who have a little more experience about the setup? robitrice
what kind of opinion are you looking for? its a simple stg 2 tune, common for alot of people on here. Are you staying with that setup or do u have plans for more?
sumfoo1
if you're asking if it was done right... it appears they spent the money to get good parts rather than just buying cheap test pipes for a thrill. But honestly the quality of the tune is the biggest variable and it's really hard to tell that without some data-logging.
AZP Installs
The set up sounds very solid. Like people have said, good tuning is the only thing you can't fix in a driveway. But the STi up pipe and Invidia down pipe are great parts and are worth keeping. LegacyKid5
Great, thanks guys. I was just looking to get a general idea of the quality of the parts on the car. From what the original owner told me, the car was tuned by shamar stephens, who I believe owns infamous tunes? As for plans for the car, eventually I would like to work on the exhaust a little more, get some of that boxer rumble without being too loud, but wasn't sure exactly what options I had yet with the wagon having few mufflers due to the longer tips. goneskiian
Shamar IS infamous tuning and one of the best for sure. The problem with trying to get more of the boxer rumble out of a wagon is that you usually end up getting a lot more drone than you want. It's a wagon thing. They're echo chambers. Cheers! LegacyKid5
Can't have everything apparently, get the better looking body style and have more drone. Haha -m sprank, thanks for filling me in, I wasn't really sure exactly. So you guys are based out of california?
