mfinn2135
Hey there everyone, I am about to get a 2008 legacy gt in OBP and I was wondering what people have done for gauge setups? I have been looking everywhere but I cannot seem to find anything like the SMY ClusterMaker Dual Dash Gauge Pod that fits the 08-11 wrx/sti. Will this fit in my LGT? If not, I'm just wondering what everyone else has done to setup their gauges. Thanks for the help!
2.5GT_dude
IIRC there is one designed for the LGT specifically and goes in place of the cubby above the radio.
mfinn2135
Do you happen to know where I can order one? I know that I saw a user on here make one for himself, but I am looking for one that can just be purchased.

01rs25
I have the same gauge pack and I couldn't be happier! I get nothing but compliments. Looks OEM because it is. Takes alittle getting used to as it is metric but you'll get used to it. Slammed more than your girlfriend.
mfinn2135
DAMN that's expensive!!!! That's a little more than I'm looking to spend right now. I dunno, I guess I'll keep looking for something a little less expensive. At this point I just want a boost gauge installed. Thanks for helping me though
2.5GT_dude
Yes. But you're not putting holes in the dash and don't compromis the column air bags as you could with other aftermarket gauges. This is a good alternative for someone like me who has airbags in the pillars and wants to keep the dash clean. I like and want. It's next on my list after dp,up, tmic, new turbo, and tune. mfinn2135
Yeah thats true, if I could afford that I probably would buy it haha. I just like the way that one for the 08 wrx is with the two gauges right under the cluster.
ehsnils
Very expensive. But I like the fact that the boost scale is in bar. Unfortunately only 2.0 bar, and I suspect that I need one that goes to 3.0.

mfinn2135
Ahh I like that one ^^ I'll prolly end up getting the double gauge one. Thanks for finding it for me!
Nrw
I'm running their cubby pod and love it.
AZP Installs
The cubby pod is definitely a nice piece. It is actually a Defi kit with the STi logos, so you are paying for 2 brand names but it is probably the nicest piece we've seen come through. No hacking, no fitment issues, no buying adapters etc. And it has oil temp and pressure. -Jake http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://upload.pbase.com/image/137566671.jpg Call directly for your best Whiteline Price! | We also carry almost every manufacturer now, so before you buy parts call us. Berzerklo
I have been doing some research on the subject as well because I am in the same boat as you. I can't do the cubby because I have navigation, and I refuse to do an A-pillar install. I found some electronic gauges that replace a portion of the driver side heating/cooling vent... a little more complex but probably the route I will go. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/vent-boost-gauge-digital-led-bars-numerics-125083.html http://www.gtboostgauge.com/ Just another option to think about. shutterbc
I'm very interested in the vent gauge as I like the idea of a low-profile (looking like stock) gauge. Only a couple of minor concerns about it: possibility of condensation from the vent, and visibility / usability. But I haven't seen it in person so those concerns may not be valid. mfinn2135
Yeah, I thought that people were disappointed with the vent gauge for some reason, I might be wrong though. I might just save up for the cubby one because that does look the best.
Biggu
IMO AVO pod and a cubby pod are they way to go if you need 3 gauges. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/Legacy/DSC_0461.jpg
mfinn2135
Yeah, I just want the cubby pod, don't need one with gauges, just want the cubby pod with 53mm gauge size.
