EL34
97 Legacy Outback wagon I have a standalone powered subwoofer on the way that is going in the cargo area. I have 3 wires that need to go back to the Sub A #8 gauge power wire A small power ant. control wire (turns the sub on and off when the head unit goes on or off) and a dual RCA signal level cable. I can always use the body/chassis for the ground wire, so no need to run that. The #8 power wire has to go from the sub all the way to the battery (according to the Crutchfield guy I talked to) The power ant. wire and RCA cables come off the back of the Kenwood head unit. I was thinking that through the console, under the carpet along the side of the tunnel would work good for the two wires coming off the head. My question is what is the best way to get the #8 power wire all the way to the cargo area without ripping the whole car apart or drilling holes in the firewall??
