hukne001 Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 I have a 2005 GT and soon I plan on taking my headlights apart and doing some mods to them. Any suggestions of what I should do while i have them apart so I don't have any regrets later. I want to put LED lights in for sure. Any other suggestions and pictures would be beneficial. boymk123 Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 unless you'r extremely good with your hands or you'r a pro, I advice not to take them apart. reason is, condensation in the light no matter how good you think you've sealed it, and baking the light will cause oxidization. and why LED stripes? I took mine apart and while they came out good and have a good seal, my lenses are cracking because of the sun.. so I'm about to replace them with some TYC ones and then do the TRS HID conversion Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
