ammo828
im buying some new wheels but i want a wider stance or at least fill my fenders functionally.. im going to roll the fenders but im not going full "form" im keeping the suspension setup i have which is the bilstein struts with the pink springs.. i want to go to an 8.5 wheel, a fellow member on here told me it would rub my struts but i want another opinion... also what would anyone suggest size wise on wheels? offsets? all the wheel stuff confuses me haha
BigBlack-V
I had 18x8 wheels on my spec.B with 245 width tires and I rubbed on Cobb springs. IMO if you do an 8.5 width tire I wouldnt go any wider than 235 width on the tires. My wheel wells were rolled on the previous setup but I got rid of those (due to rubbing) and went with a BBS wheel and a 225 width tire without any issues. I was 0. And I'm still a zero. Camber was also pretty negative tires had inside wear another thing I didn't like Might have been Better with 235's but i wasn't a fan of the wheels http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd340/Jay04WRX/Picture005-4.jpg I was 0. And I'm still a zero.
