06LegacyRBP
Hey guys I need to replace my driver side endlink, are you guys doing it with the wheel off? I know most say do it on ramps but I don't have any haha question is can I just do it by jacking up the driver side and some hand tools? Allen wrench and socket? I tried today seem pretty tight..are you guys hitting those bolts with impacts? Someone please advise, even better if you have all the tools and done it before..help a brother out! Maybe I can stop by with some brewski??
S402
you can do it without jacking the car it is just harder to fit under there. they might take some muscle if they are super rusty are they aftermarket or stock?
xero287
What are you jacking the car up with? I hope you're using jackstands as well. You need some PB blaster, and it'd be REALLY helpful if you had even an electric impact. If not buy a set of ratcheting wrenches as they'll be the next best thing in addition to the allen wrench. I reccommend doing it on ramps (~$40) because of the fact that youll be under the car for a while (safety) and because there will be less load on the endlink of itself because it won't be stretched, like it is in your situation. 06LegacyRBP
They are stock and the bushing is torn, but yea I figure ramps would have a less load on the link, I will look into the pb blaster! Anyone local wanna help? Lol
