Theride
I notice that not many run the H&R springs...I guess because they don't know the spring rate. However I installed this set up...koni/H&R yesterday. I chose the H&R because it seems to have a leveled drop instead of the rake based on the specs. Also that it drops the car low enough. as advertised, the rear is 1.3 and front is 1.4. Ive had Eibach(sp) on my previous honda and it had a rake look, which i didnt really like. So far I like the look. I thought it has a perfect gap front and rear. Now in regards to the ride; you can definitely know that you are riding in a car that was lowered. I've tried both extreme setting on the koni and full HARD is pretty hard. And full soft the ride seems ok but a bit bouncy. maybe because i am coming from stock, which was smooth enough. The car definitely feels flat on the road and around corners. I am going to mess around with the setting over the next few days. I am also going to take some picture so you guys can see what the drop is like.

SaggioWRX
Interested in how you like them. I just ordered a set.
Theride
They are nice. I am riding on stock wheels and they lowered the car nicely. They've actually settle a little more from the initial installation. Ride quality wise, as stated before, the ride was either too bouncy or too hard from one extreme setting to the next, but i did was fully turn the koni to soft and slightly turn it back.....slightly. That has eliminated the issues i had with them and now the ride is nice and compliant. Its smooth and nice on the highway. It absorb the bumps nicely. I am going to continue to play with the setting on the konis but i will make sure i mark where this setting is as i like the ride.

chutrain
Turn to full hard on the front and rear. Back it out 1-1/4 front and 1-1/2 rear. That was recommended to me by a shop and told to adjust from there.

waxon_waxoff
im a little late to the game but thought i would put my 2 cents in.... was worried about getting h&r's because of the no published spring rates thing. but: - epics are an 8 week wait - swifts looked too low to me - ions are super expensive and also a long wait (although these are a fantastic product) - teins produce noticeable uneven wheel gap front to rear - anything else didn't look like enough of an aesthetic difference for my preferences i just had the h&r's and konis fitted yesterday. impressions so far: - the h&r's are definitely not too stiff. drop also looks better then epics imo. very glad i got these over the epics. - personally i think these are great for daily driving, but if you're looking for a very stiff spring to pair with the konis then these are not ideal. not sure how these compare to epics or teins. they are definitely softer than iONs - the konis are amazing. i spent last night driving around and making adjustments and was surprised that the changes were so noticeable. obviously going too soft or too hard with these will be a compromise since the spring rates stay constant, so i was focussing on finding that sweet spot. but running full hard on a smooth road would feel very sporty! i was worried about this combo because of bad roads and snow up here, all i can say is if these are concerns then this is a good option. very impressed with overall ride comfort and reduced dive/squat/roll. noticeable drop without sacrificing all of your suspension travel. really cleans up the wheel gap nicely. Spec B 127
I ran H&R's with KYB AGX's on my old B13 (1993) SE-R and loved that setup. I am planning on doing H&R's with the stock Bilsteins on my Spec B.
dspecbl
I am running the H&R's with the factory spec.B struts and it still seems way to soft and I got almost no noticable drop in the front. The rear looks good but the front looks way to tall for my liking. If I were to go to the Koni's I would have to go to the non spec.B top hats? Correct? Would that lower me any? Or is my plan of ditching the H&R's and factory struts and going with KW's the best bet for me?
