T._.88
1999 Subaru Legacy GT 2.5 with numerous issues. Here is the most concerning: My check engine light has been on for quite some time now and upon getting it checked out in the past it has never been an issue.(that the mechanics knew of) Recently after starting the car and driving for less than 5 minutes the check engine light will begin flashing.. the car slows down like it's going to die and "sputters". This happens every time I drive the vehicle. I usually keep driving/try to drive (stupid) and the chaos stops and the car accelerates as normal. Suggestions? Thanks =]
BAC5.2
Flashing indicates misfiring. The first step is to replace the spark plugs and wires. I'd say that's 99% likely to fix the problem. Keep driving it while it flashes, and expect to replace the cats very soon.
