What size sub can we fit in the without any modification? And what would be a good amp to power it. I already have a Pioneer double din so it would be getting its signal from over RCA for that. I was thinking of mounting the amp under the passenger seat. Anyone done a similar setup? Just want to add some bass to the car! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sjwelna Posted August 31, 2011 Share Posted August 31, 2011 If you are talking about popping out the plate that covers the spot for a sub in the rear deck, it will fit an 8" sub. You will have to select carefully so that the trunk bars/springs don't run into the magnet. An infinite baffle sub would probably be a good choice for this. The Image Dynamics ID8 might be a good choice. EDIT: Also the ARC 8d2 might be ok. I don't know if either of these subs will clear the lift bars though.
