Anyone running 18X8.5 with a 215/35 tyre?

Title basically says it all. Currently running a 225/45 all around but with a +35 offset in the front it likes to scrub a little bit on the front of the fender.. Just a bit unsure that the profile might look a little thin on 18s on a legacy..

Current setup

Anyway was curious to see what a 215/35 looks like on an 18x8.5 or 8 inch wheel if anyone is running it on the leggy to see if the profile looks a bit to thin..

Cheers

How much camber has it got? And are the guards rolled flat?

But anyways, a 45 is too tall, get a 40 series.

Camber is at about -2.5 and gaurds are rolled and flared a bit.. Also bumper mounts are relocated so ive done most things possible.. Which is why i was looking for some stretch.

You're going from 5.5% larger than stock to 2.8% smaller so that should help. However, according to the Tire and Wheel Sizing FAQ 8.5's are too wide for a 215 tire. 225 would be OK and it would still be 1.7% smaller than stock.

Want a bit more tyre stretch though.. Not ridiculous amounts.. Just a slightly. Cheers for that link though

Wheel wider than the tire? I don't think so.

Wont start this topic up again but its fine to run stretch tyres. The amount im considering isnt that dramatic anyway. Only a 215.

Anyway i remember i had this photo. Apparently its a bloke of this forum. Just wondering what size profile he is running and width of the tyre.. I no the wheel is a 18x8.5 +25.. Any info would be appreciated

The car in the pics above belongs to S0CalGT (that's a zero, not an oh).

Searching for his name might turn up some more info. I think he posted about those when he got them but I'm not sure.
