chips and programmers

Recommended Posts

My first post, so hello all.

I (as well as most of you probably) want some more juice out of my 2.5i. I've done my research and know that attempting to juice up these motors is like trying to squeeze blood from a turnip. The one thing I can't say I've seen any thread on is chips or programmers for our luggy leggys.

How much of a gain would there to be from tuning our ecu's being n/a?

there currently is no easy solution for the N/A crowd. you will have to find a tuner to make a map for you. a tune on its own wont get you much. you will have to get alot of engine work done plus the tune to see gains, and even then, it will only be modest.

unless you want a project car, your money is better spent on other things like suspension.
