1986944t Posted December 7, 2011 Share Posted December 7, 2011 Oem tyre size is 225/60/17 which comes out to - 27.6299 inches in diameter 225/65/17 which comes out to - 28.5156 inches in diameter So the difference is a .8857 inches in total diameter increase. roughly you'll get an additional lift off the ground of .443 inches and .443 inches of fendergap will be reduced. I would measure the fender gap you have right now in the rear and add an additional .5 inch to it and that will give you an idea on how much clearance you'll have with 225/65/17 tyres.
