Redline track events is having a day at Streets of Willow on Friday the 17th. It costs 110 + 10 dollar gate fee. Instructors & a brief class are availble for 30-40 dollars more. They are a great group to run with. I've been with them a few times now with no problems.

I'll be there with my bimmer. I'm wondering if anyone else is planning on going. I usually see a lot of Subarus there.

I'm not affiliated with Redline in any way. I just wanted to let you guys know. Especially since I'm looking into the Legacy. I'd like to see one on the track. I do vaugely remember a yellow evo the last time I was there, though.

I saw a white LGT non-ltd the last time I did a Redline event.

Any idea if they have transponders left? I'm seriously thinking of going.

Sorry for the hijack, but redline, did you go to Harman Motive yesterday? If so, how'd it go?

PM me, homey :)

I went, but backed out when I realized I needed to get my STI up pipe heat shields rewelded.

I'm in for next week on Tuesday. I'll give an update then :)

I think I saw on another thread that you had a Cobb put in. How do you like it?

That's me with my white LGT :D :D ... Which event is this, Buttonwillow or Streets of Willow? I can't make it to this one, and don't really want to run my car when the weather gets too hot... hard on the engine and brakes. I'll start going back in fall once it becomes cooler.

  • 2 weeks later...

You should have come. It wasn't too hot there at all! We actually had our sweatshirts on for most of the day. It was windy as hell, I had to ziptie my hair back! It was a full day, they actually had to turn about 10 people away. there is another one in August if anyone is interested.

There was one other, my friend kim.

Here's a picture another friend took of her putting her R-comps on before the day started.

She was great. Her and her M3 were better than most of the intermediates out there, and it was only her second track day.

Kevin, it was more crowded than it usually is, but it wasn't bad. A lot of us were still able to get very clean runs in. They said that even at Redline full capacity, they have 20% fewer cars than most other organizations do when they do Streets. They broke beginner up into two run groups and ran long, so it worked out well. I happened to be in one of the larger run groups.
