The highest psi amount that I saw was around 16. I have a catted up, catted cnt dp, catback, cobb air filter, and was tuned by wicked innovation. My question is, should I be seeing higher psi numbers? and the only time I saw 16ish was in 5th, is that normal? frank_ster Posted August 6, 2011 Share Posted August 6, 2011 ^ well it maybe the target boost is just a bit lower. than that and in 5th gear the boost will creep up just a bit. talk to your tuner. see what the target boost is , fyi there is a "restrictor pill" in the waste gates hoses that limits maximum boost. so it may be just that thing hasn't been changed. frank_ster Posted August 7, 2011 Share Posted August 7, 2011 well you should speak with your tuner. if its not changed its not able to boost more than 16 psi no matter what the computer wants to do. but if the target boost is only 16 lbs its not gonna make any difference.
