Looking at used '96 wagon - advice needed

Hi there, and thanks up front for any advice.

 

I never owned a Subaru, but they've always looked pretty good to me. I need to haul tools and camping gear. I looked around, and it's come down to this 1996 Sub wagon here (200k miles, but it's what I can afford right now), which I'm going to test drive and look at very soon. I have asked seller about the 'slow leak', and it doesn't sound like a deal breaker; gas consumption (maybe 18/25mpg), tires (OK), and a few other things. I can tell they are honest.

 

Any advice on what else to look at/listen for, or ask the seller about, would be much appreciated.
