Recommended Posts

what have you been smoking?

all outbacks 96 - 99 have a step roof, but most DO NOT have double sunroofs.

Ok, ok, JohnnyEggWhites. I know you are probably right for just about any tid bit that Trivial Pursuit could ask about our generation of Subaru's. Only, on the first time I go to the Pick and Pull what do I find?!? *gasp* but a 99' Legacy Outback Limited with Dual sunroofs:

Rear Sunroof was a little larger then the front SR:http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee134/Rubenjc111/615EAB18-orig.jpg

I looked everywhere only I could not find the controls for the rear Sunroof...only the front SR:

LOL, those are the controls for both sunroofs. The front only tilts open (right side), whereas the rear only slides open (left side.)

He is right, though. You got pretty lucky with the dual-sunroof. The vast majority of our year Outbacks do NOT have them. To start with, you had to get the Limited trim, and you couldn't have a manual transmission (which is just weird.)
