osaylegacy
Wondering if anyone else out there has an 09 with rain guards and what your luck's been like. Got em a month ago and the tape they came with didn't hold for long so I went to the dealer and got some heavier duty and thicker 3m. Less than a week later they're already coming off again :/. I alcohol wiped down all the surfaces etc. Just bummin on $70 worth of plastic wondering if anyone's with me

iNVAR
Yeah helps to make the tape more adhesive.Shouldn't even really have to do that with 3M tape, unless it's really cold out. Double sided 3M tape is pretty damn strong. As long as the mating surfaces are clean, it should stick properly.
