TaylorTTR
I noticed my used subaru 2000 legacy L has 205/55 instead of 205/60 tires on all four corners. Will this damage the drive train? I need an answer asap. Googling wont answer this directly....
cabin
No. If all 4 corners are the same size, you will not affect your drivetrain.
TaylorTTR
Should I be worried about damaging anything besides the drive train? Thanks for the quick response.
nm
No. The only things I would worry about would be excess stretch (tire too small for rim width -- this would be obvious looking at it) and perhaps a load rating that is too low (only an issue if you carry a lot of shit and are getting near your GVWR). Also, your speedo will be off.
