Considering buying, but the mileage (72k) is right at the point that could potentially include some major maintenance upcoming...thanks!

The number sounds familiar. I think the car was on the forum before. But I have no knowledge of its history. CarFax?

 

What major maintenance do you speak of? 90K is not that bad and timing belt is due between 90 and 110.

I'd like to know (if possible) that the 60k was done, and it's potentially about time for the turbo, clutch, shocks/struts, various bushings, etc...it falls under the rear wheel bearing recall, wondering if that's been done (although not a big deal since it'd be covered until 100k for that)...

 

I dunno, I would just like as much info as possible. Buying from a dealership always worries me, I'd rather buy from the previous owner, you know?

Completely understand.

 

I see your thread in the Nor Cal section. Hopefully a local has some insight. If the car was picked up wholesale by the dealer know telling where it came from.
