gholman12
So I'm picking up a set of 17x7 et55 stock Outback Sport rims and I currently have some 17x7 et45 wheels on the wagon and like the more flush look of et45 over et55. So I want to add some small spacers to bump the wheels out a bit. Can I add 5mm spacers with the stock lug bolts? 7mm? 10mm? How hard is it to replace stock lug bolts with longer lug bolts? Ideally I think I'd go for between 5 and 7mm of spacer, but I won't know for sure until I get the wheels mounted. Thanks!
sheppo9
+45 isn't flush. 5mm is the max on O.E studs. Could get 25mm bolt-on spacers and not have to cut/shave the O.E studs. Front studs are easy to change, rears are a PITA.
