Legacy25GT2005
Apologies in advance for a potentially stupid question: What is the purpose of the small black pushbutton located just in front of the OBD port on a 2005 Legacy GT?

Legacy25GT2005
does your car have a non-stock alarm? See, I knew it was a stupid question. The car has a after-market remote start/security device similar to the Python 950 (http://www.pythoncarsecurity.com/support/guides.aspx). The "disable" toggle switch is mounted an inch away from the pushbutton; it didn't occur to me that the two were both part of the same system. The button, among other things, appears to override the keyfob controlled no-start security.
