GTLIB1 Posted June 1, 2005 Share Posted June 1, 2005 I have just purchased a set of 19inch rims for my MY05 GT which are being fitted on the weekend, will this effect the wheel alignment at all due to the tyres being 225 and the rolling stock being slightly larger? Xenonk Posted June 1, 2005 Share Posted June 1, 2005 putting tires doesnt affect alignment, but putting on camber plates and other suspension related parts affects alignment. The GT has a little play for caster, toe, and camber, the rear is more fixed though, but there are eccentric bolts back there for small adjustments that are stated in the the service manual.
