I have to work 2 of the days but have the rest of the time off, anyone know of anything fun going on? Certainly gonna take advantage of the local bar scene as well... m sprank Posted May 28, 2011 Share Posted May 28, 2011 Welcome. San Diego has little culture. It is not San Fran or NYC. Food is Ok at best. Beaches are nice. Tourists like Gas Lamp. If never been to zoo might as well go. I have free passes to zoo (I donate a lot every year). Sea World, Lego Land, Safari Park. I like it, but like you said its kinda slow paced (though PHENOMENALLY better than where i currently am at Edwards AFB).
