speedyblue
2005 Legacy GT Wagon, 85+k miles. Stock turbo. Grimmspeed heat shield, group-n trans mount, and Infamous e-tune since about 81k. "You have a nicely wearing engine at 85,152 miles. Universal averages show typical wear metals in the oil from the Subaru 2.5L Turbo engine after about 3,900 miles on the oil. Your oil wasn't in use quite that long and most wear metals are lower than averages, as expected. That's a good sign that no mechanical problems are developing that we can see. Low insolubles and silicon show good oil and air filtration and no fuel or coolant contaminated this 5W/30 oil. Subaru makes some very nice engines, and this one is no exception. Nice report." Hopefully this will ease some automotive hypochondria that one can pick up from any enthusiast forum.

StoplightAssassin
Don't get too excited yet. I've read on this forum that these cars are highly unreliable.
speedyblue
Don't get too excited yet. I've read on this forum that these cars are highly unreliable. This! I used Castrol Syntec 5w30 and changed it after 6 months. I only had 2900 miles on the fill.

VtspecB
I too recently received my Blackstone report back. Same feedback on 53k miles running a TDC stg 2 tune and using dino 5w30 changed regularly at 3-3.5k miles. If you're actually interested in what mods I am running, check my vBGarage. my vBGarage
