specialB
The factor numbers there is what they multiply your lap time by according to the classing of your car and then they judge who's best with the calculated PAX time. theres another 25 competitors beneath the initial 20 i just screen shotted the results from the scca results page. planelazy
Nice vid. I never cared for auto-x.. the course is too small
whitetiger
where are the cones?
specialB
No cones here, I'm not a fan for parking lot racing. This was hosted at a go-kart track. Yes it was small and really emphasized low end acceleration and traction and line choice.

Huge difference there.
specialB
I'm not bashing on the heart and soul of auto x. Was just my first time doing a solo cross and I'm happy it was at a small track over a circuit set up by cones, too confusing in my opinion but then again ive never done it before. Was like getting back to grass routes for me because I started racing back in the day with my race kart. I really want to get out to like limerock or the glen and get some real full sized car/track experience.
Draco-REX
A properly setup and lined AutoX course shouldn't be confusing. Your local region is either using too many or too few cones and not considering the transitions from one feature to the next. A good course should flow, so that as you're exiting one feature, your eyes are drawn to the next.
